Brady Ortego - RMWBH Shareholder

Brady Ortego is a shareholder with the firm and is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law. Brady’s practice areas include Community Association Law where he represents a variety of property owners’ associations across the state of Texas including master-planned, condominiums, townhomes, commercial, and single-family communities. Brady also has experience working with real estate developers in relation to the creation of communities and community associations.

Brady is a member of Community Associations Institute (CAI). In addition to being an attorney, Brady has received a professional designation from CAI as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). Brady is a Co-Chair of the Texas Community Association Advocates which is a legislative action committee who serves community associations, the professionals who serve them, as well as the volunteer leaders of the community.

One of his major focuses being education, Brady is a frequent speaker at CAI luncheons and seminars and has authored numerous articles published in all four Texas chapters of CAI. Nationally, Brady co-presented at the Annual Law Seminar-Community Associations Institute on ethics. Mr. Ortego also educates his fellow lawyers on community association issues including presenting at the Texas State Bar’s 2015 Advance Real Estate Drafting Course. Mr. Ortego presented and authored an article at the 49th Annual William W. Gibson, Jr. Mortgage Lending Institute Seminar in 2015 (Austin and Dallas). Mr. Ortego authored the Property Owners’ Association Chapter in the most recent edition of the State Bar of Texas’ Foreclosure Manual.
