Mark Gonzalez - RMWBH Associate

Mark Gonzalez practices in the firm’s litigation and appellate sections.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Mr. Gonzalez earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stanford University. While at Stanford, Mr. Gonzalez was the program and research assistant at Stanford Law School’s public interest department. He also had the honor of clerking for Chairman Mark Gaston Pearce at the National Labor Relations Board.

Mr. Gonzalez graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2017. While at UHLC, Mr. Gonzalez clerked at RMWBH as well as another Houston law firm, where he gained valuable experience in a variety of practice areas including family law, probate, business torts, defamation, and criminal defense.

In addition, Mr. Gonzalez competed in several trial advocacy competitions while at UHLC. He is a two-time champion of the National Trial Advocacy Competition, earning individual awards for “Best Closing Argument” and “Best Overall Advocate.” Mr. Gonzalez also won the Hippard Open Mock Trial Competition. Mr. Gonzalez’s success in trial advocacy earned him the Byron McCoy Excellence in Advocacy Scholarship, the Houston Bar Association Litigation Section Outstanding Advocacy Scholarship, and induction into The Order of the Barristers.
